The behavior of a dog varies due to many factors, including breed, social skills, behavior, fears, temperament, etc. and this means that a “one-size-fits-all” approach does not work for every dog.
Therefore, at IQ K9 Training, we devise personalized training programs for every dog tailored to suit their individual needs and requirements. Moreover, before we initiate our training, we set up an ice-breaking session where our experts assess the behavior of the dog and discuss with the owners how they want their dog to behave.
Here is how it works:
Step 1: Preliminary Evaluation/Consultation
We start our training with a free consultation session to address your dogs’ needs and develop the best training courses for them. It takes approximately an hour and can be completed remotely, on-call.
Step 2: Finalizing the Dog Training Program
Our experts will share all the suitable training programs with you so you can choose one that fits your requirements. Once you choose the program, you have to fill an enrollment form to sign up and pay a deposit fee (the remaining balance is due at the start of the training).
Step 3: Initialization of Training at Your Desired Date
Our experts will start training your dog according to the chosen plan. If you choose our Board and Train program, we will keep your dog at our home until they are fully trained.
Once your dog is trained, we’ll move on to training you so that your dog understands and responds to you better than he does to us. This will take 2 to 5 sessions. After this, you will have a cheerful dog who will focus even around distractions.
