During your dog’s stay, our dedicated dog trainers instill marker words, commands, behavioral conditioning and socialization. With scheduled play and bonding time, our dog training camps ensures you’ll have a well-rounded, healthy pup.

There are two phases to to a dog training boot camp program.

In phase one, your dog comes and lives with us. We will do all of his training, lay a solid foundation and teach him to listen around distractions, both on and off-leash.

Once your dog has completed his training, we begin phase two of boot camp, where we train you. We do this through a series of follow-up lessons in order to transfer your fully trained dog back to you. Our training is conducted in a manner that will allow you, the owner, to effortlessly reinforce the training while at the same time maintaining a leadership status and keeping your dog mentally and physically balanced. This is the key to not only ensuring the training will last the life of your dog but also keep your canine companion happy and healthy.

Our training courses are unique in that they not only give you the control needed to navigate various aspects of the human environment with your canine companion but also the communication needed to successfully have your dog wanting to perform the commands, having fun and staying engaged with you, even around distractions.

Certain exercises, for example, having your dog ‘Heel’ politely at your side, we will want your dog in a calm state of mind. For this particular exercise, we will take the same approach to train your dog as is used to train ServiceDogs. The ‘Heel’ command will give you the control needed to navigate through public environments successfully with your dog.

When it comes to other exercises, like the ‘Come’ command, we want your dog in a reactive state of mind. We want him running, chasing and excited. We will test your dog to figure out what your dog really enjoys (toys, a certain type of treat, chase games etc). Once we know what he likes, we will incorporate that into certain aspects of his training like the ‘come’ command. This will enable us to build the correct muscle memory of a beautiful, flashy ‘come’ command that has him running towards you every time you call.
